Pink Saturday
Happy Pink Saturday. Enjoy all the pink you want at HowSweetTheSound. This week I have been able to spend a little time embroidering on cross stitch squares that I bought over 10 years ago. I have some old pieces and purchased some new pink fabrics to piece squares to be between the embroidered ones. AND I got a new sewing machine today!!!!!!! I am excited to have a machine that does many stitches and embroiders. It isn't one of the fancy ones but it will do all I need. Of course, I will have to use it a lot to ever begin to justify the purchase but that is my hope. Here are some of the fabrics and one of the squares.

It's raining cats and dogs in Upper Michigan today with oodles of cold wind. Not very spring-like so traveling from blog to blog on Pink Saturday is really a treat for me today.

I LOVE these fabrics! Beautiful! Have fun with your new sewing machine. I'm ready to learn to use my daughter's fancy machine (embroidery and all). First on the list: a curtain to hide the buckets of bulk grains in the pantry. You've inspired me!
