OK, my days are mixed up. I didn't prepare for Pink Saturday and just realized it is midnight. So, I am going to show you pictures of what I've been privileged to be a part of the last part of the week - Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone. I think you can find some kind of pink in most of the pictures. The theme is Jesus, Man Of Miracles and it is set in the days of the Bible. We wear "Bible clothes" and we go to the market, gather around the well, where we can have a snack at one booth, make necklaces at one, make a picture frame out of shells at the next, or choose other activities. We are divided into families within one of the 12 tribes so we have different ages in each group. We hear Peter tell of his experiences with Jesus, like walking on the water. And we hear Salimae (name we've given the mother of James and John) who tells us what she has learned from her boys about Jesus. (And she does have very important boys, you remember:> ) And we have time together with our "family" when we talk about miracles Jesus did and about the traditions of these days. We have one more night to talk about the only book whose words will last forever and the only Saviour who is the way the truth and the life with these precious children.
Worshiping in Song
Playing a game
Some recreation with Bows and "Arrows"
Hearing Peter
Hearing Salimae
Eating dried fruits and special treats
"Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One..."
You can see pinks at HowSweetTheSound. Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Jennifer,
Sounds like your VBS at Cornerstone was lots of fun! I do see some pinks there too. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Pink Saturday and weekend.

I see pink so that's enough for me.

Oh Jennifer!
It looks a though a wonderful time was had by all. I enjoyed it just looking at the pictures. Thanks for sharing on this lovely Pink Saturday Day. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit. Country Hugs, Sherry
Hi Jennifer...thanks so much for stopping by my blogs. Our log home is almost finished...we are living here during the final phase of construction...and fighting the constant sawdust battle....but well worth it! You asked about my aprons...yes, I make them at home with vintage fabrics (when I can) and vintage trims (always). I have not had a chance to sew for a few months...the farm keeps me way too busy during the summer. But come Fall, I hope to again return to creativity.
Hugs to you!!
