Pink Saturday

Beverly at HowSweetTheSound is again hosting Pink Saturday. Hope you enoy the pink posts by going there for the list of participants. Here are my pink pictures.
The first is a set of 6 pretty cups. These were a gift from my good friend. They belonged to her mother who is now in Heaven. I really like them.

These are a few of the pinks I have in my yard.

I know this isn't pink, but isn't it a pretty blue?

It is 36 degrees this evening and I have covered up some of the plants. We will probably move my husband's party for his clients to a church activity center tomorrow. I wish we could be outside but maybe we'll have another party later.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Jennifer,
love your flowers. I had a lovely orchid from Valentine's Day but it died. I am just no good with flowers...(sob)..I guess that's why I love it when Pink Saturday participants post their lovely flowers and gardens.

The cups your friend gave you are so pretty and they are very ladylike!

Thank so much for coming to visit, I love company! :-)

Actually, it's not wallpaper, those are the curtains behind the lamp and picture. I'm going to be posting lots more pictures of our home coming up soon. Please do come on back!

Jennifer, thank you for visiting with me and leaving a comment, sweetpea. I'm still trying to get around to all the pink saturday chicks, but it takes more time each week.

About the embroidery: any craft store or fabric store would have books on silk ribbon embroidery. I learned from a wonderful Japanese woman (whose techniques were different and more beautiful) in a small town in Oregon who gave small classes on this art. But rest assured you can definitely find ANY book on the art in stores with clear illustrations on how to do it. I've given most of mine away to kids so I can't show more! So just go for it, chickee, and good luck.

xoxo,
Connie

Pink, pink, pink!!! I used yuor bag out of the home today for the second time. The first time was last week when a friend invited me to a morning of crafts and chat, the second time was today. I had to have a chat with my family about my mum's care and needed to knit so I wouldn't talk so much! It helped a bit AND everybody admired my new PINK bag!!!

Thanks again.
