Here is my Pink Saturday post and you can see more pink at the Pink Saturday Icon below. This is a beautiful covered dish given to me last Christmas by my sweet sister. She knows I like pink dishes and found this one at an antique near by store. I really like it and will use it as a butter dish though I am not sure that is its original intent. I can't think what else it would be. Isn't it lovely?

How pretty. It may be a butter dish, or is it maybe something to keep cheese fresh at the table? Not sure but it's so pretty.

Oh my your pink dish is just stunning. I love the soft colors and the gorgeous roses. The curve in the lid is so pretty. I don't know what it was for either other than maye cheese, sometimes you see a dish with a curved top to cove a slice of cheese off a big wheel. I don't know just a thought.
